Stanford Program on Regions of Innovation and Entrepreneurship


Program
For two weeks, Fellows participate in seminars led by an interdisciplinary team of experts comprised of Stanford University faculty, Silicon Valley thought leaders, and other regional decisionmakers. The program integrates conceptual knowledge and best practices with Fellows’ own experiences to explore challenging problems, diagnose performance gaps, generate valuable insights, and develop action plans.

Program Highlights
• Classroom lectures and cases build a foundation of core concepts and knowledge.
• Rigorous work in the classroom is paired with field visits to and briefings by executives of Valley icon companies and start-ups, venture capital firms, regional organizations, and research labs
• Small group discussions and presentations hone analytical and leadership skills, and draw on the rich experiences of international peers in the program.
• Special events offer opportunities for participants to build relationships with each other and to interact informally with faculty members
• Fellows enjoy opportunities for sightseeing and relaxation amid the beautiful natural setting and cultural life of Stanford, San Francisco and the Pacific Coast.
